Steve Brewster opened the Sportsman Chalet in 1972 the Sehome Mall. Outstanding customer service, great selection and a highly experienced staff helped Steve grow the business. Eventually the shop grew and found a new home in the growing retail area of cordata Place. Finally in 1995 Sportsman Chalet made the step to the heart of Downtown Bellingham and has not looked back since.
In 2001 Steve Brewster passed the torch to Noel Lemke and the Sportsman Chalet continues to strive to offer Whatcom county the best selection and service possible.
