Steve Brewster opened Sportsman Chalet in 1972 in the Sehome Mall. Outstanding customer service, great selection and a highly experienced staff helped Steve grow the business. Eventually the shop grew and found a new home in the growing retail area of Cordata Place. In 1995 Sportsman Chalet made the move to Downtown Bellingham. In 2001 Steve Brewster passed the torch to Noel Lemke who moved the store to Sunnyland Square in 2010 and Sportsman Chalet continues to strive to offer Whatcom county the best selection and service possible.
Sportsman Chalet has been a fixture in the Bellingham community for almost 40 years and we love what we do. It's simple really; we help people have fun! Whether your passion is skiing, snowboarding, soccer, swim, tennis, backpacking or disc golf we can help you with what you need. If there is anything that we can do for you please let us know.
